Design needed to help promote healthy tasty food in Plymouth
The people of Plymouth are being invited to be creative and design a logo for ‘Food Plymouth’, a new city-wide partnership of organisations working together to increase the demand and availability of tasty and affordable fresh, seasonal, local and organic food throughout Plymouth.
The talented winner will not only get their design in print but will also receive a free meal for two at the famous Tanners Restaurant in the heart of the city. Riverford will also be providing a tasty box of local organic produce for the runner up. The new logo will be chosen at Plymouth’s Flavour Fest in August.
The new Plymouth Food Charter was launched earlier this year as a way for communities, organisations and individuals across the city to sign up to support healthy and sustainable food, as part of a thriving local food economy. The Food Plymouth partnership now want to promote the Charter more widely across the city, so need an outstanding image to help it achieve greater recognition and encourage more people to get involved. Can you help?
Coordinator Traci Lewis says, ‘Food Plymouth are seeking a logo to help promote the Food Charter more widely across the city and we think that the people of Plymouth are best placed to come up with something eye-catching and appealing. The winning design will be used to help promote fresh, healthy and tasty food in Plymouth. All ideas are welcome! So please do send you design ideas to us, we will announce the winner at this years Plymouth Flavour Fest.’

‘Food Plymouth’ is now seeking a new logo as following
- To be used on: letterhead, website, PR materials, reports and as an email signature
- Colour but remains clear when in black and white.
- Used in different sizes to minimum 1.5cm
- For hand drawn designs please use A4
- To represent the aims and objectives of the Plymouth Food Charter www.foodplymouth.org
- NB Please note that the logo design may be adjusted to enable professional use.
