RIO has been running 2 x 6 week programmes to support young people into food, catering and hospitality industry and to enhance work readiness for the sector. All the young people enrolled onto the course as they have a passion in this area and are keen to gain whatever experience they can to better position for themselves to access employment and further career development. Part of our role as providers (as well as delivering the course) is to support the young people into looking for jobs.
If anyone has any opportunities/openings coming up for an enthusiastic young person- whether it be from a trial shift/ casual work to part/ full time work please could you contact my colleague Kate Rowlands: email@example.com/ 07595 491018. What the project has shown us is that these young people want nothing more than to get a job and pursue a career, but just need the opportunity to prove themselves.
